What would say are "staple" 90's pieces? I really like all the outfits you post and wanna dress in more of a 90's style :)

It depends, because there were many different styles at that time just like today. So if you are more of a preppy person, you can find inspiration in the Beverly Hills 90210 girls or in Cher and Dionne in Clueless. If you like the grungy 90s look, you can take a look at the tv show My So-Called Life where both Angela and Rayanne have the grunge look. Drew Barrymore was also pretty much into the grunge style. If you are more into a sporty kind of style, you can check out Aaliyah, Destiny’s Child or TLC, their music videos or appearances. They wore lots of baggy clothes with cropped tops and Timberland boots.

So it really depends, but I guess plaid flannel, high waisted worn out jeans, some cropped tops, plain white t-shirts, jean jackets are pieces that were used by almost everyone during the 90s. Hope this helps…

What do you think of TLC's styles?

I like how they were really confident about themselves and how they were always fun about their clothes. You can tell that they knew exactly who they were. Which is something really great in young girls who are idols to many other teen girls. I remember baggy pants being really in for girls for a while during the 90s and I don’t really know if that was because of TLC and Aaliyah as well, but my sister and I copied them a lot in terms of style.
